The McLean County Bar Association and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts Illinois Chapter invite you to a presentation on Collaborative Law Practice and Parenting Coordinator Practice presented by Attorneys, Beth F. McCormack, JD, and Dr. Gail Petrich, JD, MA, Psy.D. This program is for attorneys and mental health professionals who are interested in learning more about different approaches to resolving family disputes. The course objectives are:

  • Educate lawyers and mental health professionals on the positive effect of Parenting Coordination
  • Encourage lawyers and mental health professionals to consider this approach in their own practice for divorcing couples who want to avoid court
  • Discuss the unique role Parenting Coordinators have and how they can be invaluable to high-conflict families
  • Describe the relevance of Parenting Coordination in the realm of Alternative Dispute Resolution, and how it helps the family long-term, especially the children
