The Illinois Chapter of the AFCC is an interdisciplinary association of family law judges, attorneys, mediators, custody evaluators, court administrators, parenting coordinators, academics, psychologists, counselors, social workers, and financial planners working in collaboration to resolve family conflict and protect the interests of families and children. The organization embraces research, education, and collaboration to improve and challenge aspects of our adversarial family litigation system which could benefit from change. The Illinois Chapter of the AFCC also provides opportunities for interdisciplinary communication and training for professionals who work for family law.
