Trauma in the Divorce Context:
Legal, Physical, and Psychological Ramifications For Clients and Professionals
Join us for our annual conference as we discuss the legal, physical, and psychological ramifications of trauma. We will explore how to identify trauma in ourselves and in our clients and hear from experts in the field regarding how to handle trauma once it has been identified. We will hear about best practices in our court systems for avoiding the re-traumatization of our clients during the litigation process.
Keynote Speaker: The Honorable Kim Berkeley Clark
Judge Clark received the William H. Rehnquist Award from the National Center for State Courts for her work in transforming the way children and families who enter the court system are treated by creating a “trauma-informed” courthouse. She was presented this award by U.S. Supreme Court Justice John G. Roberts Jr.
